WBSSC Lower Division Clerk Jobs Recruitment 2016
West Bengal Staff Selection Commission, Govt of West Bengal has issued a notification for the Recruitment of 1133 (599+534 -New) Lower Division Assistant (LDA)/Lower Division Clerk (LDC) posts in Secretariat Offices, Directorates and District Offices. Educational Qualifications:
- Madhyamik Examination of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education.
- Elementary knowledge in Computer operation.
- Computer typing speed 20 words/min in English, 10 words/min in Bengali language.
Age Limit:
Applicants of Lower Division clerk/Lower Division Assistant attained age limit not less than 18 years and not more than 40 years as on 01.01.2016.Upper age limit applicable belonging SC/ST-5 years, BC-A/B-3 years, Government service continuously (two years)- 2 years, up to 45 years for PWD categories.
Pay Scale:
Selected candidate will be paid monthly pay band rate of Rs.5400-25200/- with Grade pay Rs.2600/- (initial pay band Rs.6240/-).
Selection Mode:
- Written Examination (Part-I)-Multiple choice objective type questions on English (30 marks), General Studies (40 marks) and Arithmetic (30 marks)
- Written Examination (Part-II) –Group-A/B (Bengali/ Hindi/ Urdu/ Nepali & English) –50 marks for each Group.
Application Fee:
- GEN & other categories – Rs.220/- (Exam fee – Rs.200/- & Processing fee – Rs.20/-)
- SC/ST/PWD Categories – Rs.20/- (Processing Fee only)
- Payment of Examination fees and Processing fees can be made online through payment gateway using Debit Cards / Credits Cards / Net banking of any bank. An amount of Rs. 5/- only will be charged by the concerned agency as “Service Charge” for availing Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking facility.
