Education Qualifications :
1. Sub-Inspector (Staff Nurse) – Intermediate Examination pass.Certificate in General Nursing and Midwifery course and must be Registered with Central or State Nursing Council as a General Nurse and Mid-wife.
2. Sub-Inspector (Radiographer/Pharmacist)-Intermediate Examination pass.Diploma or Certificate (2 years course) in Radio diagnosis or Diploma/Graduation in Pharmacy and should be registered as a Pharmacy Council.
3. Assistant Sub -Inspector (Laboratory Technician)-Matriculation with Science and Diploma or certificate in Medical Laboratory Technology granted by an institution of the Central Govt./ State Government.
4. Assistant Sub - Inspector (Dental Technician)-Matriculation with Science and two years of dental hygienist course recognized by Dental Council of India
5. Head Constable (Jr.X -ray Assistant)-Matriculation Examination pass.Diploma or Certificate of Radio diagnosis from an institution of the Central Govt. or State Government Institution.
6. Head Constable (Air Conditioning Plant Technician)-Matriculation Examination pass and Diploma in refrigeration and Air Conditioning from an Industrial Training Institute or Industrial Training Centre recognized by the Central Govt or State Govt or three years apprenticeship from recognized institution of Central Govt. or State Government Institution.
7. Head Constable (Steward)-Matriculation Examination pass and Diploma in Food and beverage services from recognized institution.
8. Constable (Ward Boy/Girl)-Matriculation Examination pass and mut possess First Aid certificate from St. John Ambulance Organization or Red Cross Society of India.
10. Constable (Masalchi)-Matriculation Examination pass and two years experience in a hotel or restaurant
11. Constable (Cook)-Matriculation Examination pass and one year experience as Cook
12. Constable (S/K)-Matriculation Examination pass and knowledge of reading and writing English or Hindi or local language.
13. Constable (W/M)-Matriculation Examination pass and one year experience as Dhobi.
Age Preference : Age relaxation five years for SC/ST/ordinarily been domiciled in the State of Jammu & Kashmir persons, three years for OBC/Ex.Servicemen, Up to 40 years for Central Government Civilian Employees admissible.

- Physical Efficiency Test
- Written Examination (General Intelligence and Reasoning/General Awareness/Numerical aptitude/English/Hindi comprehension (50 marks), professional of the trade level quesions (50 marks).
- Trade Test & Screening Documents (Practical test-10 marks,Experience-05 marks)
NOTE : General – 45% (SI/ASI/HC), 40% (CT), SC/ST/OBC-40 % (SI/ASI/HC), SC/ST/OBC – 35% (CT) marks pass
Application fee Details :
The General(UR)/OBC category applying for recruitment to the their posts should deposit Rs.100/- for Group-B & Rs.50/- only for Group-C as examination fee through SBI Challan or Using Credit card/Debit card of any Bank/Net Banking facility.
